The MIB Band was absolutely amazing and truly made our wedding a night to remember for myself, husband, family and friends. We got married 5 months ago and everyone is still talking about the band :)

I would highly recommend them to anyone hosting a function. One of the greatest things they gave my husband and I was the opportunity to be guests at our own wedding! And just in case you're wondering, it is very difficult to let someone you don't know take charge on a day that you have planned for years. I gave them my introductions and they took it perfectly from there. Seriously, not one mistake, not one "awkward wedding moment" ..it was perfect! We did not have to worry about anything but dancing and having an amazing time. They are unbelievably talented, professional, fun, arrived early, sang and performed giving 1000% and kept every last guest dancing! No one sat down at our wedding.

I would be happy to give a personal recommendation to them with my name on it any day. I owe them a huge "thank you" for making our wedding not great...but phenominal.

Despite the hurricane, time changes, floods and hotel evacuations, the wedding was amazing and you guys kept the party going (even at 2 in the afternoon!). The band absolutely made the night and I cannot begin to count how many people said it was the best band they've ever seen, including one of our cousins who is a wedding DJ. I was abit hesitant at first about some of the wedding party involvement and the centerpiece give away but in trusting in you was the wisest thing I did on my wedding day. We have an amazingly funny picture of my mom and dad dancing around the table with a napkin in one hand and a dollar in the other. Absouletly priceless !!!

Thank you also for your flexibility in staying later when our whole time frame got shifted. I was worried it might be wasted time going late and never imagined our dance floor would be packed to the gills at 1 am, but sure enough it was !!!

Having never seen Men In Black live before booking, I found it hard to believe that they would get people dancing off the bat (like I was told by so many people). Boy was I surprised !!!! Men in Black provided the music for my sister’s wedding in 2006, where my husband and I first met. When we got engaged the first thing people asked me was...."are you getting Men in Black"? Of course I was, there was no way that we were going to get married without them!

The Band was amazing and got everyone on the dance floor, even those who never dance! We also never left the dance floor and got some great candid’s because of it! The best part was that my husband’s group of friends from home have a song they love to sing and the Band was kind enough to like them borrow the mic- it made the boys night and I really appreciated that!

It’s been 3 months since the day and we are still getting calls on how great they were. Everyone agrees.... they are the best wedding band EVER!

My husband and I are already trying to think of another reason to hire them.

OMG!! I just left the wedding you perfomed at on 11 Nov. 09 and you all were AWESOME!! The groom’s Polish grandmother was a dancing fool and on her way to sit down would start up dancing again! I am not looking to book the band,I just want to comment on them,and hopefully you can pass it on to the band members. THEY ARE EXCELLENT !!!! I am a guitar player,88 Berklee grad, and I am not really playing anymore,but possibly subing for a friend of mines band, so I was just checking out all the Boston wedding bands online and listeneing to them. I probally listened to at least 10-15 bands before I came across MIB. All the other bands who claim to be Boston’s best bands all sound like a "wedding band"-no soul,bad harmonies actually,too much harmonies and "over-doing it" I was EXTREMELY IMPRESSED with MIB. The lead singer/guitar player is very soulful all the harmonies were AWESOME. The female lead singer kicks ass. Keep up the good work MIB.

I have been meaning to drop a note in the mail as well, but I wanted to let you know how delighted we were with Men In Black at our wedding on Block Island 6/13/09. They took all of our song suggestions to heart, they played exactly what we wanted to hear-and then some!!! The crowd never stopped dancing - from our flower girls to our grandmothers, it was unbelievable!!! They went above and beyond what we expected. We have an endless stream of compliments saying that ours was the "best wedding I have ever been to" - and I think we have Men In Black to thank for a large portion of that. They were so much fun, they barely took breaks, and they played FOREVER!!! All in all,they rocked. We loved every second of it.

I just photographed a wedding on December 27th. Men In Black performed for over 6 Hours. What a SHOW!. They had the whole place rocking. Could not help but take great photos of the band and how they got the audience involved in the performance. Even I wanted to dance...and I was not drinking (I usually have a two drink minimum before dancing). I would recomend this band for anyone....but only if you want to have FUN!

My daughter Jen and her now husband James, had one main theme they wanted for their wedding - Fun Fun Fun. Well Men In Black helped us achieve that and more. Wow!! That is all I can say. Everyone has been raving about how amazing MIB was at our wedding! They played our wedding on 9/6/08 at the Royal Sonesta and played to the room size and the crowd perfectly We had a variety of ages at the wedding and everyone loved it. MEN IN BLACK recently performed at my daughters wedding (July 19, 2008) and were outstanding!! People continue to say how great they were,things like "the best wedding ever, especially the band!". We, the bride and groom in particular,especially liked the end where the band got the bridesmaids,then the groomsmen,lastly the bride and groom,up to sing with the band. The only regret about that was that we thought the party was about over and had let the photographer go. You might suggest that the band advise someone in the wedding party NOT to let photographer go until the band is truly done. What a blast we had. No one is does it better than this band.

There is only one way to say this...YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!!

As a result of hiring Men In Black, we can honestly say on behalf of our guests that WE HAD THE BEST WEDDDING,EVER!! It has been over a month since the big day and people are still ranting and raving about the wedding, and most importantly, about the band! The fact that the dance floor was packed all night, including while dinner was served, says it all !! Oh, and I mustin forget to mention the fact that we had an outdoor reception under a tent and the police were called in 3 times to break up the party. But MIB just kept on playing(and they even played a little extra at the end just b/c they were having a great time as well!!) Even the police on there 3rd attempted to stop the party gave up and joined in. It was amazing !!

The band was right on target with judging the musical moods of the guests and you knew exactly which songs everyone wanted to dance to, and in which order they should be played. There alot of copy cat bands out there,but you guys and girl are THE REAL DEAL. You practically brought down the tent when you ended the night with BonJovi’s "Livin On A Prayer"!!

After 18 months of planning, our daughters wedding has come and gone. Your suggestion that Men In Black would be the perfect band for a fun and lively wedding was perfect. The music appealed to every age group (our youngest guests were age 7 and our oldest just turned 86). As soon as the first songs began there were people on the dance floor and the dancing never stopped. A completely conservative lawyer friend was on the floor doing the "gator" when the band played "Shout". One of the grooms female classmates grabbed my friends husband for very fast dancing. The guest were relaxed,and mingling with people they had never met before, and having a wonderful time.

The band was incredible. Shannon offered my daughter her own earings when she temporarily lost her own. Ralph told me that the band was the one thing in the wedding planning that I did not have to worry about and he was right. The compliments keep coming in. I have already received a written letter from an out of town groom side guest thanking us for a great time. One of the guests ran into someone from the reception wait staff. The waitress said she has never seen so many people having so much fun at wedding. A friend called yesterday and said the reception was the best one she attended.

The photographer said the minute the band began to play he knew that this was going to be a great reception. He commented how this band is not just going through the motions like every other wedding band he has seen. They genuinely are enthusiastic, and love what they do. After interviewing a few bands on our own we contacted you. You asked a few questions and then suggested that Men In Black was "the" band we were looking for. From the keyboard during cocktail hour to the final dance of the the night, the band was outstanding.

We will be recommending not only Men In Black but also The Hank Agency.

Hi Tania

We just got back from our honeymoon late Saturday night and I was going through our home voice mail just now and heard your message of well wishes the day before our wedding. Sorry we werent able to get back to you until now,but I wanted to let you know we appreciated the call. But most importantly, that Men In Black was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL !!!! Yours and others raves about this band were no exaggeration. They are truly the best wedding band on the planet, and it was the best decision we ever made to book them !! Jeff,Ralph,Shannon, and the whole band MADE our reception. Everyone who attended is still talking about how much fun we all had and how Men In Black was honestly the best wedding band they had ever heard. Even the most shy, reserved people were out on the floor with sweat dripping down their necks; the energy was simply contagious! Tim and I have actually remarked that it would have been impossible for people not to dance at our wedding, because even of for some crazy reason people didn’t want to get out there, Jeff and the gang would have physically pulled people onto the dance floor. In fact, my groom himself, Tim, tends to be a quieter guy and they even got him on stage with his groomsmen,and were all singing together with the band and had a total blast doing it.

We just loved the genuine attention they gave to us and our guests. It’s amazing to us that the bands attitude was so fresh, that they made us feel like ours was the first and best wedding they ever played at. They also played the perfect balance and flow of ballads and upbeat dance songs.

We also want to thank Men In Black for doing a FANTASTICK cover of our wedding song, "I Want Everything" by Luna. Not only do we appreciate that they learned it for us for our first dance, but we were amazed at how great it sounded !!! It’s definitely an obscure song that very few people have ever heard before, so we didn’t know what to expect, but we couldn’t imagine it sounding better, It was perfect, Thank you !!!

A huge hug again to Ralph and Jeff and the whole band for making our wedding so AMAZING. They were kind, respectful, friendly, super-upbeat, and super-super talented, and put on an unforgettable show for our wedding. For many reasons, many of our guests have already told us that ours was the best wedding they have ever attened and we know Men In Black was a big reason for that. And thank-you Tania for being a pleasure to work with through out the whole planning process. And I will definitely be more than happy to serve as a reference if you ever need one (though,no doubt you have plenty!!)

What can we say. Men In Black blew us out of the water on our Aug 4, 2007 wedding. We planned our wedding for 16 months and we have to say that the element of a wedding that can truly make or break how much of a success the reception is,is the band. I say that with no hesitation. The band defines the night and Men In Black allowed for our wedding to be one for the memory books. We are STILL talking about it one month later. People told us we couldn’t possibly have chosen a better band. People were calling asking how we found you and wanting to book you for their weddings!!! You all had people dancing before the meal even started until you finished at midnight. The energy level in the room was amazing and you played to all generations. Your level of PROFESSIONALISM and PASSION shows in your music and we still cannot get over how sensational you made our reception. We listened to every band in the metro Boston area and decided on Men In Black because of the energy that you bring to an event. We wanted an elegant city wedding with a band that keeps the night going and you gave us more that we ever could have dreamed of. I want to give you all HUGE hugs for giving us a dream come true night!!!

We could gush about Men In Black for the rest of our lives.

The band was awesome at our Special Olympics event (no surprise)!!!! They were on time,accommodating and great entertainers- the place was rocking, and they had everyone out on the dance floor all night,people loved them. Thanks for your help-we plan on doing this again next year.
